Online therapy sessions are highly successful due to numerous factors.

  1. You don’t have to worry about travelling and parking
  2. You can receive the treatment in the comfort of your own surroundings. For some people, this can be a very important and crucial element, especially if they are dealing with Social Anxiety.
  3. It makes sessions more easy to schedule with your busy timetable/lifestyle.

CBT is a ‘talking therapy’ which uses highly effective techniques and approaches to help you understand your thought patterns, emotions and behaviours. By addressing how we think and how we behave, we can have a much healthier perspective on our lives allowing us to cope and deal with the stresses and pressures that we encounter on a daily basis.

Hypnotherapy is also a highly effective form of treatment, which utilises: Relaxation, Mental Imagery, Mental Rehearsal and Positive Suggestions.

Clinical trials have shown that CBT combined with Hypnotherapy SIGNIFICANTLY increases the effectiveness and success of the treatment.

CBT techniques and Hypnotherapy are used together during treatment. Some conditions will require more CBT or more Hypnotherapy during the course of treatment but the combination of both will lead to much quicker and significant results.

A session lasts for 1 hour and is conducted in a safe, relaxing and non-judgemental environment, the use of CBT techniques and/or Hypnotherapy will be delivered bespoke for you.

All it will require is for you to stay comfortably seated, whilst you are led through the session.

Sessions are very focused and constructed around you and your intended outcome and a typical session is as follows:

  • Initial discussion and focus for the session
  • Psycho-education and reference to the scientific/clinical research that supports them
  • Practical exercises and techniques (CBT techniques and/or Hypnotherapy)
  • Worksheets and documentation
  • Take away tasks and ‘homework’

The first session will always be a 60 minute Assessment and Consultation session (£65) in order for us to fully analyse, conceptualise and develop your bespoke treatment plan required for your future sessions.

Each 60 minute session costs £65

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you have a confirmed scheduled booking for a Hypnotherapy session that you wish to cancel you must do so at least 48 hours in advance of the session. Cancellation within 48 hours will result in a late cancellation fee.

Therapy is highly effective and some treatment such as: Habit Reversal, Thought Stopping techniques may only require X1 session, whereas Anxiety related conditions (Social Anxiety, Assertiveness, Phobias) normally require 4-6 sessions.

YES, it is completely safe!

The world of stage and Television has provided us with hilarious and entertaining acts of Hypnotised volunteers jumping around like frogs and pretending they are Henry VIII, however, this is purely entertainment!

Hypnosis is neither magical nor mystical but rather a scientifically and clinically proven method of utilising your imagination to rehearse and influence your perceptions of yourself, others and the world around you. There are no trances and you will not ‘go under’ any kind of spell, nor can you have subliminal messages implanted in your brain or even get ‘stuck in it’. You will be completely aware and in charge of the process and can stop at any time, it will be as effective as you want it to be.

Research and the development of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy dates back to the 1700’s and some of the worlds most prestigious academic institutions such as: Stanford University, Harvard University and the University College of London (UCL) have all dedicated facilities and funding into the continued scientific research of Hypnosis and its effectiveness in Psychotherapeutic applications.

Hypnosis can occur when you are at your most relaxed or even highly active and is a process facilitated and supported by a Hypnotherapist. The goal is to focus your attention on targeted and directed imagery and mental scenarios, whilst using various applications of suggestion and hypnotic techniques to assist you in reinforcing or challenging Core Beliefs and the factors that maintain them. It is a pleasant and calming experience, one which you are completely in charge of.
