However you contact, we can arrange a FREE phone conversation, at a time that is suitable for us both. There is NO FEE and NO-OBLIGATION, this is an opportunity to establish the nature of the issue, ask any questions and discuss what outcome is achievable. It’s important to see if I am the right therapist for you and we can work together to solve your issue. I will give you a realistic timeframe, cost and brief explanation of the overall process. If I feel that your issue requires a different intervention or therapy, I will try my best to advise on other avenues.
STEP 2 – Initial Assessment and Conceptualisation Session
There are two elements to this first 1 hour session:
- Initial Assessment is an in-depth analysis of the problem in order to fully understand the presenting factors and also discuss the psycho-education of your issue for you to fully understand what the problem is and why it is happening.
- Conceptualisation is the process of then creating and designing a bespoke treatment plan for you and not just ‘one-size fits all’ exercises. This is a vital element of Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy and also when we discuss and agree our intended outcomes and specific goals for a successful and measurable outcome of your treatment. It is at this stage that clients normally start to feel a significant investment in the therapy and a confident optimism that this is achievable and the positive effects it will have on their life.
STEP 3 – Treatment Sessions
This is when we begin the therapeutic treatment, diving straight into your exercises and treatment, keeping you aware of the progress you are making. Clients make significant improvement, even after the first session, seeing the benefit and power of this therapeutic approach. Typically treatment is between 4-6 sessions and these will be supported with ‘take away’ or ‘homework’ tasks. For the most effective approach, it is advised that sessions take place at weekly intervals. However, if your busy schedule makes this quite difficult, we can discuss a plan and time frame that works around you. Remember that sessions are available online for better flexibility.
